ADHD 101 for Parents

Workshop: ADHD 101 for Parents

Join Coach Griffin Rouse for a one-on-one crash course in parenting your ADHD child or young adult.

In this two-hour workshop, you’ll learn:

  • the basics of how your ADHD child’s brain works
  • why they’re doing what they’re doing
  • how you can best support them and help them be successful.

You’ll walk away from this one-time session with high-level insights into ADHD and how it shows up for your child. We’ll also talk about some tips and techniques that you can begin trying immediately to help you better communicate with and understand your child.

You will also receive a digital guide that summarizes the topics and learnings from the session, as well as some additional resources. This guide will be an excellent reference tool as you continue to work with your child to develop the strategies that help them (and you!) be successful in this journey.

We could not recommend the parent workshop with Griffin Rouse more wholeheartedly! Our son was diagnosed with ADHD and dyslexia when he was in first grade and we have worked tirelessly over the years with doctors, teachers, tutors, and therapists to try to get him the help and support he needs. He is now 20. It wasn’t until the parent workshop with Griffin that my husband and I began to really understand ADHD from both a scientific and personal perspective. We were completely stunned that no one had ever been able to communicate this information to us before. Griffin was so supportive and personal, he really made us feel understood. Our son’s mantra had been “no one understands me”, which has been devastating for us to hear as parents, but as Griffin spoke, we could see a cloud lift from our son. After the call, our son admitted that for the first time he felt that someone in the world was speaking to his experience and this gave him hope. In short, we are beyond thankful for the information we learned as well as for the opportunity to learn more about how to support our amazing son in the most positive and helpful way possible.
